Though the Characteristics of the variety is seen , the ASTA is lower than the Good quality chilli ranging between 30 ASTA to 50 ASTA. The Scoville Heat Value varies with the variety of yellow chilli ranging between 20000 SHU to 70000 SHU.
The yellow chilli yeast & mould are on the higher side and the TPC levels also on the higher side.
This is mainly used as fillers in the spice industry.
